Teams

Teams are be made up of players from the same school year. If different year groups are present in a team the team must register in the year group of the most senior player.

Teams can be composed of boys, girls or a mixed team of boys and girls.

The maximum number of players registered with any team is 15.  The minimum number is 10.

Each team must nominate a Manager, Team Captain and Substitute Captain. All contact with the team will be via the Manager.

Mixed Teams

Mixed teams must ALWAYS have 50% male and 50% female on the field, therefore there must ALWAYS be 4 boys and 4 girls on the field.

If the team does not have 4 girls or 4 boys, they must drop an appropriate person, so that the split is 50% male and 50% female.

Unregistered Players

Teams are not permitted to play unregistered players under any circumstances. Teams found to be playing unregistered players will not receive any competition points for that round. Repeat offenders may be excluded from the competition without refund.

Managers who wish to complain about unregistered players should complain to an ADULT supervisor as soon as possible. Do not wait until after the game as we are often unable to follow up the matter at that stage.

Equipment Requirements

The club will supply equipment such as tags, shirts, footballs, shirts for referees and vests for officials.

Insurance

Dural Rugby Club recommends all players have private health insurance. Rugby Australia includes basic insurance cover as part of every player registration.
