Laws of the Game

Information

Dural Rugby prepares and publishes simple rules governing Gameplay for TryTag.  Your Referee is the arbiter of rules during any game of TryTag; feel free to ask questions, they are happy to help.  TryTagis not the World Cup and their are no scholarships on offer.  Yet.

Please Note:  TryTag is a non-contact game.  While accidental contact is a part of almost any sport, any sanctions or penalties that relate to unlawful contact in the Rugby Australia and SJRU competition rules (as referenced in the TryTag Laws of the Game) for tackle rugby will be subject to a one grade higher sanction, as all TryTag players have a reasonable expectation for no avoidable contact.

All players facing sanction will have a right to face a judicial panel and request a review of any sanctions.

Dural Rugby, in partnership with Rugby Australia, Sydney Juniors and NSW Juniors always promote a respectful and safe environment for our players, families and officials.

If you have any concerns, please contact the club President and Vice President so we can address your issues at the earliest opportunity.
